With a background as a mergers and acquisitions tax attorney at prestigious firms such as Shell Oil Company, Arthur Andersen, KPMG, and Deloitte, as well as serving as Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Energy and Environment Taxes Committee, Samira possesses the technical expertise and structural acumen necessary to navigate today’s dynamic business landscape. Her specialties include facilitating co-investment and capital, structuring organizations and transactions, improving operations, identifying underutilized assets, increasing revenues, and providing valuable CEO and board leadership and advisory services.

Passionate about evolving the private finance landscape and driving impactful change, Samira actively contributes to the advancement of underrepresented founders’ economic development and entrepreneurship. Samira was raised overseas and is a first-generation Arab-American. Her father is Lebanese, and her mother is of Sicilian, French, and Irish descent. She grew up in U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Switzerland, Syria, and London. Samira holds an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Houston, a JD and BS in international trade and finance (with a minor in economics) from Louisiana State University. She is licensed to practice law in Texas, Louisiana, and before the U.S. Tax Court.
