About Jennifer Maanavi
She is a growth-minded entrepreneur and thought leader with over 20 years of success across the health and wellness, fitness, and financial services industries. Leveraging extensive hands-on experience building and managing a global organization from the ground up, her broad areas of expertise include strategic planning, revenue growth, business development, marketing, branding, turnaround strategies, and change management. She has a passion for high-growth early-stage (VC or private equity backed) B2C fitness and wellness companies whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of their communities.
She co-founded Physique 57, a boutique fitness and media company, in 2006 and expanded the business to four countries with multiple digital platforms. With clients and subscribers in all 50 states and over 60 countries, Physique 57 continues to grow its U.S. and international fan base. As Chief Executive Officer, she creates top-line and bottom-line value. She also serves as a fractional leader, management and marketing consultant, and board member. Additionally, she advises early-stage founders in the female consumer space, using the arsenal of knowledge and expertise accumulated during her entrepreneurial journey.
She is a frequent speaker on business and entrepreneurship and has been featured on media outlets including Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Inc.com. In addition, she is a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School. In recognition of her professional successes, she was awarded the 2013 Columbia Women in Business Distinguished Alumna Award. Physique 57 was awarded Mindbody's 2020 Industry Icon Award, named a 2022 Top 6 Beauty Brand in India by Vogue, recognized as Best Barre Workout by Shape Magazine, and is one of only a few boutique studios in the world to earn Fit Guide’s 5 Star Rating.
